nothing to help us. Below is the complete details: This is regarding our Ooty trip from Bangalore. This is handled by Travel Triangle (All India Holidays) Our trip is a 3 day trip from 7th April 2023 to 9th April 2023. As discussed with travel Agent Harsha(9625019390) the driver will be coming to pick us at 4:00 AM. We contacted the driver on the 6th afternoon and shared the exact address with him. He asked for extra money (Night Charges). We contacted Harsha and he told us that he will contact the driver and not to pay any money to driver as everything is included in the package. In the evening we contacted the driver again, the driver said give me extra charges otherwise I will not come. We said the office guys will pay you. He came by 4:00 AM and we started our journey. By around 6:00 AM we stopped for tea(where the driver also asked to pay for his tea and cigarettes'). Later on the driver stopped for fuel refill and asked us to pay 2000 for fuel, we paid. Then he asked to pay the pending amount only in cash. We spent 2 hrs. roam around here and there in search of an ATM, found few but not working. Somehow we were able to find an ATM from where we got only 4000/- cash. Now We were about to enter Bandipur Checkpost. Driver said "Government safari is a waste of money. I will take you to Private safari and it will cost you 2500/-". We relied on him and skipped Government safari. After a few hrs he took a shortcut to ooty after arguing with a traffic police-man and took us to a gypsy. we paid 2500/- in cash to the person there(might be his friends). They took us to a hill top. We spent 30 minutes and then gypsy guy took us on a road-side forest in the name of safari. We then realized that we were cheated on the name of private-safafri because it is just road-side trees with some animals. Driver took us for lunch and asked us to pay for his lunch also. It is already very late. Driver recommend to carry on with the shortcut and skip Day-1 Sight seeing like Pine-forest, shooting point, Pykara boating. We reached ooty and driver asked to cover the Botanical Garden. We visited botanical garden and the driver asked us to pay for the parking. We gave driver 100/- and went inside the botanical garden. We enjoyed ourselves there for a while, and came back to the parking. When we were about to leave the botanical garden parking lot, I saw the driver refuse to pay for parking when the parking guy asked for the payment. After that we checked into our hotel Rain-Forest. Hotel manager asked us to pay money before check-in. we called harsha and he told don't pay money, we will pay. we had an argument with harsha as well as the hotel manager. but after some time payment is made by All-India-holiday and the matter is sorted. We were very frustrated with this kind of behavior. Later in the afternoon we got a call from Harsha to make the pending payment, but because of our hotel booking issue I lost trust in them and made only half payment and told them that I will be making the other half of the payment on Day-2. Harsha forced us to make full payment, but I refused every time. Sachin also threatened us that he will revoke all the services, if we don't make full payment, but I stood by my decision. then Sachin said fine, make the half payment and the other half on Day-2. In the evening we went 2 KM to get Cash from the ATM and paid the driver 3400/- out of which 400 was his night charges. In the night the driver started shouting at me "From where you booked this cheap hotel?. Where will I park my car? Where will I sleep? I am also Human. Do something for me". I ignored and asked him to call his agency, to which he replied "Agency will do nothing. You have to do.". I think he did all this drama to extract more money out of my pocket. Day-2 we plan for conoor. We visited sim's park and then moved towards the Dolphins nose. On the way we got a call from Harsha(travel agent) to pay the remaining amount. We paid the rest amount and now our payment to Travel Triangle (All India Holiday) is completed. On the way there is a lot of traffic and all cars and buses and stuck in traffic. Driver was making fun of us saying "Let's go back to ooty. You will be stuck in traffic throughout the day". After waiting for 30 minutes in traffic, we started walking towards the Dolphins nose, which is around 6-7 KM. We asked the driver to call us when traffic got cleared. Along the way we enjoyed the road side view. After 40 min I called the driver and asked for the status, driver said he was still stuck in the traffic. I shared the landmark(near Queens Restaurant) with him. Then we asked a photographer to take our photos and print them. After 1.5hr the driver came with the car and we headed towards the Dolphins nose. After the dolphin's nose, we came back to the photographer to collect our photo print and have lunch at Queens Restaurant. Driver again asked us to pay for lunch. After that driver said "Now there is nothing left to visit. Let's go back to ooty". its already 4:00 PM. We decided to go back to ooty and reached our hotel by 5:00 PM. Driver again made fun of us asking "Now, where do you want to go?". We went back to our rooms and pinged sachin (travel agent) about the driver's misbehavior and lunch payment. He pinged back that you need not to pay anything, it's covered under the package. We called harsha and he also asked us not to pay. But no one is calling the driver and asking him why he is bothering us and asking us to pay every time for everything. Driver asked us to make the pending payment only in Cash. We don't have Cash and asked him if we will pay tomorrow afternoon. Somehow he agreed upon taking UPI payment and I paid 5150/- amount to him, and driver payment is also done. That is we paid full amount to Travel Triangle as well as to the driver. We also informed the driver about the pending sightseeing of Day-1. After covering that we will head towards bangalore tomorrow. He told pykaraa boat house, you need to go by walk. we agreed assuming it would be few minutes of walk. Day-3 we plan to cover skipped itenary of our Day-1, and asked driver to go doddabetta Peak, and then we covered Pine forest and after then we covered shooting point. Then driver take to us near pykaara boat house,and asked us to go by walk. We started walking and after walking for 15 minutes we saw a board of pykaara boat house saying " pykaara boat house 1 KM". I called the driver and told boat house is 1 KM, and we cant walk for that long. He replied "yesterday I told you that you have to go by walk". My wife called harsha and shouted at him regarding this behavior. I also had a heated conversation with harsha, but as usual harsha replied "I will look into this matter". Meanwhile we kept on walking and reached pykaara boat house. We did boating there and called driver to come and pick us. Driver replied "Come, where I left you." Means he asked to walk again for 2 KM. We took help from a police van there and one of the guys there called the driver and asked him to come to the boat house ticket counter. After waiting for more than 1.5 hours the driver came and started shouting at me and my wife, and said why did you call the police. We were so scared that we asked the driver to go to pykaara Police station. We headed towards the pykaara police station, but the driver stopped the car near a police officer and started telling him something in Tamil, to which Police officer asked what the problem was. I replied we want to make sure we reach Bangalore safely, therefore we want to make a complaint against the driver and travel triangle. Police officer said you have to make this complaint in Bangalore, not here, to which I replied what about the safety then. Police officer said you can seek help at the Bandipur check post if the driver did anything fishy. Police officer also told us to leave early if we want to cross the Bandipur check post, otherwise we will get stuck here only till 6:00 AM. We agreed and asked the driver to take us to bangalore safely, otherwise we will complain at bandipur check post. Driver utters a few words in kananda/Tamil. I think he is abusing us. Through-out our journey back to Bangalore , my wife and my friend's family are scared. We reached our home in Bangalore at around 11:45 PM. Driver made fun of us again saying "Are you safe now". He also asked again for 400/- as Night charges. I don't want to argue with him and I paid him 400/-. Cliffside Views in Varkala: We enjoyed a lot of our time in Varkala, especially staying at the Wood House Beach Resort right on the cliff side. The views and the atmosphere there were unforgettable.
